Kontrol - Eskape

Synopsis

A tale of madness and the longing for freedom, set in a dark, labyrinthine city built from strange letterpress type and ruled by tyrannical hands. Tiny scraps of paper drift like zombies through this timeless urban world, their existence bound to a dark ritual led by a hand-priest — while, from the top of a tower, a lone hand watches over it all. A hybrid 2D/3D animation, blending hand-crafted paper textures with digital depth.
